The project: Installation of closeboard panel fencing  in Croydon

Our client opted to install closeboard panel fencing for their Croydon property. Closeboard is an excellent choice because it is hard-wearing, long-lasting and looks fantastic. They wanted greater privacy, and their new closeboard fence was higher than their old fence.

Closeboard fencing can provide a cost-effective option for homeowners, and all our timber is ethically sourced, making it an eco-friendly choice. It is a versatile style choice and can complement a range of property designs and garden landscapes of different shapes and sizes.

The results

We removed the client’s old fencing and disposed of it via the correct channels. Our fencing contractors supplied and fitted new closeboard fencing and posts to create a strong framework. Our fences are designed and fitted to offer exceptional value for money and a timeless appeal.

Any challenges?

The installation was straightforward, and the client was delighted with the results. They said:

Thank you to Chris and the team for a seamless installation. Our new fence looks great and provides us with so much more privacy than the last one. They also tidied up after themselves and were very considerate and friendly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need planning permission before installing my new fence?

The height of your new fence will dictate whether you need planning permission. Fortunately, you will only require planning if your fence is more than 2m high so that most fencing installations can be completed without permission.

Is your fencing environmentally friendly?

Yes, we use sustainable materials where possible and all old fencing materials are recycled to divert them from landfill.

How long does a fencing installation take?

The time it takes for our
team to fit your fence will depend on the size, material and design of your
new fencing. We will be able to advise you about this during any
consultation.

Can you provide examples of projects you have completed?

Yes, there are examples in our gallery of recent work, and we are always happy to show you our portfolio of examples.

My garden is on uneven terrain. Can you still install a fence?

Polite and courteous from the word go. The job commenced on time despite the adverse weather - Chris and Ade worked through it and provided an excellent service. They took care to avoid damage to existing planting. Everything had to go through the house as I have no side access but they took great care to ensure minimum disruption and mess. A quality job done at a competitive price. This team obviously care about their work and I would happily recommend them.

The quality and the work that they did was of the highest standard. We knew that the back fence would be tricky to do but they did a great job and would fully recommend them to anyone. They were polite and curteuous throughout and tidied up after themselves.

We are extremely pleased with both the prompt response to our request for help and the quality and speed with which the repairs were carried out, especially given it was so close after Christmas. We will certainly use Chris and his team again and have already recommended them to our neighbours.
