The project: Installation of closeboard panel fencing  in Croydon

Our client opted to install closeboard panel fencing for their Croydon property. Closeboard is an excellent choice because it is hard-wearing, long-lasting and looks fantastic. They wanted greater privacy, and their new closeboard fence was higher than their old fence.

Closeboard fencing can provide a cost-effective option for homeowners, and all our timber is ethically sourced, making it an eco-friendly choice. It is a versatile style choice and can complement a range of property designs and garden landscapes of different shapes and sizes.

The results

We removed the client’s old fencing and disposed of it via the correct channels. Our fencing contractors supplied and fitted new closeboard fencing and posts to create a strong framework. Our fences are designed and fitted to offer exceptional value for money and a timeless appeal.

Any challenges?

The installation was straightforward, and the client was delighted with the results. They said:

Thank you to Chris and the team for a seamless installation. Our new fence looks great and provides us with so much more privacy than the last one. They also tidied up after themselves and were very considerate and friendly.

Work was done very well and all materials and old posts and panels had to be carried through the house as no side access. The men were careful, polite and worked from when they arrived until the job was finished. They cleared away all old posts and panels, left garden clean and even wanted to hoover the house where they had walked the materials through house. Would recommend them if you need a new fence. Chris kept me informed from the quote until after the work was finished.

Replace 6 concrete fence post and 8 panels.

I was very pleased with the work carried out by Surrey Fencing and Landscapes. They arrived on time, were polite and tidy, worked quickly and did a great job! They also very kindly staked up a Fir tree that had been blown over in the recent storm. 10 out of 10 all round!

Replaced damaged fence panels and post

Great efficient service at a reasonable price. They came to quote on the same day that I phoned and did the work the next day despite very cold weather. They were very polite and tidy. I was very impressed and will use them again for other gardening jobs.

Repair/replace garden fence.

They responded at a very busy time, so that was very good. In my opinion, the attachment of the arris rail brackets looks a bit slapdash, but maybe difficult on an old fence, and they were rushed off their feet. I've marked courtesy down to 3, not because they were rude at all (they were fine), but because I asked for a quote for some other work at the same time, but have never received it. I accepted that I'd have to wait for two or three weeks because they were very busy (it was in the middle of the storms). They took all the measurements, wrote it all down - but then I never heard from them.
